Q. What is SCN?
A. The SCN aims to provide a vibrant southern China platform to assist SCC members and Singaporean businesses venturing into the China market. The intention is to provide on-going value-added services and benefits to members and the Singapore business community at large. For more details, please see "ABOUT US" on the homepage.

Q. Must I become a member of the Singapore Chamber of Commerce (HK) (SCC) first before I join the SCN?
A. No, you need not be a member of the SCC to join the SCN.

Q. Does membership in the SCN entail to membership in the SCC?
A. No. You have to join the SCC separately.

Q. Is there any joining fee for the SCN?
A. No, there is no joining fee and listing in the SCN is free.

Q. Are there any other charges?
A. No, except for advertisements or certain specific services that you require the SCC to do for you (in these cases, you will be informed of the fees incurred). There is also no charge on any business deals thus done through this interactive network.

Q. How can I make my company available for search?
A. Sign up as a member of SCN and on your profile, tick the "Allow other members to search my company" option.

Q. Will my personal information be released to third-parties?
A. All personal information and data will be kept strictly confidential and will not be released to a third party without your prior consent. As a source for online business promotion, only your company details such as company name, business nature, location and website etc will be released to an enquirer. Should he/she wishes to obtain your personal contact details, an auto-email will be sent to you for authorization. You can either agree or reject the request by auto-reply. Alternatively, you can provide the enquirer with the contact details of your staff. The enquirer is also compulsorily required to provide his/her business and personal information to you. So you have the full control. In any case, information regarding your affiliation to Singapore will not be released to anyone, except Contact Singapore that may have access to all the data.
